About Deniz Şahin
Founder & Principal Consultant
Deniz Şahin is a civil/structural engineer and the Founder & Principal Consultant of ANKA CONSULTING, with more than two decades of experience across structural, marine and infrastructure engineering, project management, construction management and technical-commercial leadership.
His career developed from bridge and structural design engineering into multidisciplinary design leadership, project management and senior management roles on major infrastructure, marine and industrial projects. This progression created a practice that connects engineering calculations with constructability, field execution, programme, contract strategy, risk and client objectives.
His technical focus includes ports and terminals, jetties and quay structures, breakwaters, shipyard infrastructure, caissons and marine foundations, offshore/onshore pipelines, RO desalination intake/outfall systems, heavy civil works, structural rehabilitation and industrial facilities. He also supports feasibility, due diligence, tendering, design review, PMC/Owner’s Engineer assignments, construction supervision, claims and project delivery.
Through ANKA, he provides principal-level specialist support to both project owners and international technical organizations, while maintaining a hands-on role in selected construction and rehabilitation packages.
